Fermented Veg for Ladies Homestead Gathering

In this introductory workshop Laura is teaching ladies everything they need to know to make their own Fermented Veggies! The workshop includes hands-on as well as tasting of the ferments.  Participants will get an instructions/recipe handout and lots of opportunities to ask questions. Fermented Vegetables are incredibly health giving, gut healing, nutrient and mineral rich, digestible, flavorful and absolutely delicious! During the workshop ladies will learn to make: Traditional Ferments (e.g. hands-on sauerkraut) and Brined Ferments. We will cover the basics for small batches, my top Do's & Dont's, plus hand-on fun. This is part of the February Ladies Homestead Gathering meeting for the Athens-Clarke Chapter located at Oconee Street United Methodist Church. Ladies do not have to be registered members to attend but usually the “make-and-takes” have a small fee to cover supplies. This is a fantastic organization for women who want to network, be empowered, share and learn more about homesteading and all the variety this entails.
